New York & Florida

Service Areas

Limitless AV has offices in New York and South Florida, each with its own local team. Our Long Island team covers Long Island, the North Shore Gold Coast, the Hamptons and Manhattan. Our South Florida team serves homes and businesses across South Florida. Both offices design, install and support home theater, Crestron automation, Lutron lighting, networking and audio.

Each area brings different houses and different planning questions: historic retrofits in estate villages, salt air on the waterfront, seasonal opening and closing for second homes, and coordination with village and building review. The guides below explain how we approach each one.

What Changes from Place to Place

01

How local conditions shape a technology project

The same equipment can behave very differently from one place to another. A shingle-style house in the Hamptons, a stone manor on the Gold Coast, a Manhattan apartment with concrete slabs and a Miami Beach tower on the water each present different problems for WiFi, wiring routes, outdoor equipment and scheduling. Our location pages describe what tends to matter in each area, so you can see how a project would be approached before the first meeting.

02

New York

On Long Island, many projects are large single-family homes where the network, outdoor audio and lighting have to reach guest houses, pool areas and long driveways. The Gold Coast has older estates where retrofitting means careful routing through plaster and masonry, as well as new construction on large wooded lots. In the Hamptons, seasonal occupancy makes remote monitoring and pre-arrival checks valuable, and salt air affects outdoor equipment near the ocean and bays. In Manhattan, building rules, freight elevator schedules and concrete construction shape how work is done.

03

South Florida

Our South Florida team works across Miami, Miami Beach, Bal Harbour, Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach. Common themes include strong sun and glare, which make motorized shades a priority; salt air, which affects outdoor speakers and enclosures; and hurricane season, which calls for planning around surge protection, battery backup for the network and cameras, and outdoor-rated equipment. Condominium buildings add association approvals and work-hour rules. The South Florida page explains these in depth.

Village and town guides

For the North Shore and the East End we have written guides to individual villages, describing typical properties and what we plan for in each. They are listed above by region. If your town is not listed, we likely still work there; the regional pages cover the wider area, and the contact page reaches the team for your region.

05

Services available in every area

The full range of our work is available in each region: home theater, Crestron automation, Lutron lighting control, whole-home audio, home networks and WiFi and security cameras and access control. Each local team designs to the same standards and documents its work the same way.

Don't See Your Town?

These pages cover where we work most often, not every community we serve. Tell us where your property is and what you are planning, and we will let you know how we can help.
