What to expect at each stage
The first conversation is about how the home is used, not equipment. Who lives there, which rooms matter most, whether the house is a primary residence or a seasonal one, and what has frustrated the owner in past homes. From that we prepare a proposal with a scope, drawings and a budget, and we revise it until it fits.
During construction, we coordinate with the builder's schedule. Prewire happens after framing and before insulation, and we attend site meetings so changes to walls or ceilings are reflected in our drawings. Racks are built and tested in our shop. After trim-out, we program and commission the system, test every room, and walk the household through it.
Documentation and handover
At handover the owner receives as-built drawings, network and cable test records, equipment lists and simple user notes. These matter years later, when a new technician, builder or designer needs to know what is inside the walls. They also make it possible for either of our regional teams to support a system they did not install.
Support after move-in
Most issues after move-in are small: a renamed scene, a new streaming device, a firmware update. With the owner's permission, remote access lets us handle many of them without a visit. Our New York and South Florida teams each provide local service, and the number for both is (631) 440-2444.
