Prewire is the project
When a Syosset house is taken down to the studs or rebuilt, the low-voltage plan is often an afterthought until the drywall delivery is scheduled. We would rather be in at framing. We walk the plans, mark speaker, TV, access point and camera locations, then prewire and test every run.
Good prewire costs little compared with retrofitting later, and it leaves options open. Even if some systems come later, the cable is in place and documented.
Indoors, outdoors and around the house
Whole-home audio is usually the first system people want after the house is finished, and the backyard comes next. Outdoor audio for a patio or pool works best with speakers spread across the space at lower volume, which keeps the sound even and the neighbors happy on tighter lots.
Cameras cover the drive, entries and yard, wired back to the same network as everything else and viewable from your phone.
