Bringing separate pieces together
A typical starting point is a house with a good TV in the family room, a soundbar elsewhere, a few wireless speakers and an app for each. It works, but nobody enjoys it. We plan whole-home audio by zone, decide which rooms deserve proper displays with hidden wiring, and bring everything under one Control4 remote and app.
Where a lower level or bonus room can become a home theater, we design it as part of the same plan, so the theater, the family room and the patio speakers are all controlled the same way.
Lighting and cameras that suit the property
Smithtown properties range from compact lots to wooded acreage, and the camera plan follows the land: the drive, the entries and any approach from the woods or water. Cameras are placed for useful views, not maximum count, and recorded locally on the home network.
Lutron lighting control replaces the long rows of switches common in larger rooms with a few engraved keypads and scenes for evening, entertaining and away. It can join the Control4 system so lights respond to the same buttons as music and TVs.
